Newfound Lake House

Bristol, NH

About

The first floor of the Sullivan Lake House was transformed from a series of disconnected spaces into a bright, open plan built for family gatherings and lakefront living. Previously, a large three-season wraparound porch separated the kitchen and living areas, limiting flow and connection. By reclaiming this space, the heart of the home now opens seamlessly, inviting friends and family to cook, relax, and linger together.

Upstairs, the master bedroom was expanded, and a new deck frames sweeping views over the lake, connecting the home to its natural surroundings. Every design decision was guided by both function and experience, turning a once-fragmented interior into a cohesive, welcoming home.

I worked closely with the homeowners over several months, exploring multiple layout options until the plan harmonized flow, light, and views. Cabinet designers and contractors then brought the finer details to life, completing a renovation that feels effortless, connected, and perfectly suited to lakeside living.
